Language Study









The teaching contents are going to highlight the features and have a wide coverage. They are going to be taught by experienced
professional teachers with a variety of teaching methods. Students will be awarded certificates after they complete the program.

The teaching contents are as following:
Chinese: Chinese phonetics; Chinese conversation, aural comprehension and reading; Chinese history;
China geography;
Calligraphy and Painting: Calligraphy, Chinese painting;
Crafts:  Knitting, paper-cutting, pottery;
Arts: folk dance, piano, folk song, folk music;
Martial Arts, Gongfu, Tai Ji Quan;
Cookery: Chinese dishes, how to make dumplings;
Other courses: Chinese character typewriting;
Students will have sport activities every day. Teachers will supervise the students during sports time.

a)   Chinese Characters is a course mainly teaching the basic knowledge of Chinese, the
structures of Chinese characters, and the Chinese phonetics.
b)   Aural Comprehension is a course mainly teaching the general rules regarding to reading
Chinese aloud, the frequently used oral and functional expressions; and developing the students’
ability to listen and speak.
c)   Speaking Chinese is a course mainly teaching scene dialogue and role-play; and helping the
students to study efficiently by language practice.
d)   Chinese is a course mainly teaching the comprehensive use of the Chinese language; and
checking the study result by reading and practice.
Writing is a course mainly providing the transitional training from writing basic dialogue to writing
short essay.
